So today I had a client who I wanted to do 3 wefts per row but I was using 1 dark weft per row and 2 lighter/rooted ones. I placed the darker weft underneath and then I placed the lighter weft on top and wrapped them underneath the bottom weft about 4 beads back and then over the top. Seemed to work pretty well. Next time I’ll have to plan ahead a little differently. She had another method previously so I had to improvise to keep her color how we wanted it.

That is awesome! Love that because it looks so clean! Thank you for that tip!
Love! I was just curious why it's bad to place the first 2 wefts how you normally would?

It works just the same! Whether you wrap from the top or the bottom. Wrapping it from the bottom is just a little easier I think!
I could see that for sure. Next time of I know ahead I’ll plan accordingly. I would have probably used a rooted weft instead of solid
