Here’s a checklist of things to make sure you are doing if you are having beads slip: *Use a 3mm silicone lined bead - or you can drop to a 2mm on the sides if client is extra sparse (Doctored Locks was included in kits) *DONT overstitch corners! Only 2-3 stitches on outside of the bead! More stitching will cause tension and overdirection which leads to slippage. Review stitching video for how to begin- knot needs to be on the inside of the first bead as instructed. Also review on how to end. *mark that tail comb with nail polish at 5/8”! Sections should be that wide and about 1/2” deep for thin haired clients. *Instruct client to not pull hair straight back into pony. It’s low or high- no mid!! Show them how to flip up for top pony’s! *I use different clamps then what were provided in the kit. If you want to use exactly what I use, you can order on Amazon! I just could never order the bulk that I needed from this company so I had to go with a different one. I use the Suvorna bead clampers and they are $14.95.
