Achieving that precise line under your weft

If you are lifting up your weft only to find a “scalloped” look, instead of a straight line, this means your beads are too tight to the scalp! make sure that you are creating that channel in between the clients scalp and the bead for your wefts to sit in. Otherwise you will be sewing around the bead giving you a scalloped appearance.

I had this today! Would that be what your talking about with the bottom scalloped? I usually have about 1 spot that always does this but it’s in a different spot each time.

Amanda I wouldn’t say that this is because of beads being too tight! If you ever see exposed sectioning like this underneath, it usually means your beads have been placed slightly too high in your section. It’s just working on that consistency of placement!
