A good look at flexible tension

I took this picture today so you could see an up close side view of the beadwork. I feel like sometimes it’s hard on the street on angles to really see how much flexibility there is in each section. Hopefully this helps give a good visual! Remember, stitching is flexible, beads are not! That’s why we keep the beads placed off the scalp so that we can create the security and hugging with our stitch work👌🏼

These were 5/8 inch wide and just under 1/2 deep.

I feel like when I make them like that it makes the bead shift to the side when I go in to make that first stitch... Is it just me or does anybody else have this problem? If it's just me what am I doing wrong?

Cathie, if this is happening then make that Side stitch a little more vertical. Sometimes if it’s angled too far in towards then it will twist or pull the section towards that stitch.
