I have been working on my client for about a year now. She had a suuuuper high undercut that I have been growing part of out so notice the one weird shorter chunk in the pics and video. She begged me for extensions for a long time but I just wasn’t sure if I could pull them off with an undercut. We finally agreed we would buy some wefts(bellami machine wefts) and I would try to place them and if it didn’t work I would sew clips on them for her to have a set of clip ins. This was the best bet we could do so we wouldn’t both have to be out so much to try to see if it could be done. She does jiu jitsu and wears her hair high up for completion, so I knew it needed to be done with wefts some how. I did a basic waterfall application the first time and it worked pretty well. Bulky, but not terrible. Then after her 2nd move up I took the IBE course and did her last move up on her hair with IBE. It was way more comfortable for her but still bulky because of machine wefts. Well, today was the day we did hand tied on her! We went for a full change with color too. Darkened her shadow and toned down her platinum. I am very proud of how this came out. I was even able to complete the whole process in 3.5hours. This was also the first time I rooted after I applied them. I’m still back and forth which way I prefer but I’m leaning towards today’s experience and will definitely try applying first, color second again. This was done with JZ Styles hair in butterscotch and buttermilk. 4 wefts on bottom row and 2 wefts on top.

Can I share some of these pics? What’s your iG?
