I recommend cotton for the following reasons:
**It is sticker which holds the wefts together better! I have complete coverage of beads underneath the row at their move up appointment with cotton. With nylon, bead tops were often exposed on the flip up.
**The knots I teach are for use with cotton thread and will not need glue to reinforce.
**You do not have to pull as tight to secure the cotton thread due to its grip, which in turn is softer on the hair.

I was a nylon girl but not I’m all about the cotton! It has better grip to ziplock the wefts!
