    Returning to work

How are we to operate when we go back to work? Are we supposed to wear masks? Gloves?

Wondering the same thing. It would be terrible to do these extensions with gloves on.

If we need masks ... what kind? Just home made ones?

Not sure. We're probably going to be closed here in Cali until 5/1

Masks will spread it faster because no one can not fiddle with it. Gloves also tend to spread it faster because everyone keeps the same gloves on and still don’t sanitize or wash. Best practices are disinfect your area after each guest. Wash your hands before, during and after every appointment, new capes and towels for every person. If you are showing any signs of sickness do not go to work. If your client is showing any signs of sickness send them home. Be safe, be smart, stay healthy.

I thought this video was sooo helpful in knowing how to protect yourself in general. It is soooo long but there is some great information throughout out the video https://vimeo.com/399733860?fbclid=IwAR0gWmUd0AkXW9jhH-90Od0x6CkdH8MN5FBHjEZKBztIAJLNfWveRLlg4LA

Love this too! It’s also a little less “crazy panic” and a little more realistic.

Does anyone else hold the needle in their mouth when stitching? I’ve always known this was a terrible habit. Now I feel like it’s really bad 🤦🏻‍♀️ thinking about practicing wearing one of those magnetic wrist things while on this break I guess.

I know! I’m honestly not sure this habit is breakable

I love my magnetic bracelet! I have one that’s for Bobby pins From salon centric and it works awesome! Pink pewter is the brand

I either tuck it in their hair or if I’m not stepping away, I insert the needle on the front of my shirt. I never put it in my mouth because I wouldn’t want someone’s saliva in my fresh new weave 🤭😂

When is everyone stopping to put it down? Whenever I sew I go straight through but if I finish and need a new string I leave it hanging in their hair a few seconds. But I don’t have time to ever set it down so I was just curious💗
