I think I goofed on my first install consultation... I had a client who wants 1 row of 14inch extensions. We are only using 3 wefts because she has very fine hair and we are just wanting to dip her toes in the water! I am in Nebraska so thinks are a little lower priced here... I quoted her $380... 60 per weft + 200 for install... does that sound right? On top of that, I wasnât thinking and didnât realize that I couldnât get half packs of the colors I needed. So I had to spend $660 for her extensions đ using this as a learning lesson but Iâd like some feed back. Did I do that right??

I donât charge for hair. I was taught itâs not their business to know the cost of hair. Then if you donât use a weft they think itâs theirs. So I say âTo achieve your desired look it will be...â and I the deposit is taken as half the service price. Never to buy the hair
*dont say the deposit is to buy the hair.
Yes you did the math right, and yes you will spend more on getting the hair Iâm since she only wants 3 wefts. I am like McKenzie and I like to keep hair on hand. Then I donât have to worry about if it will be in stock or ship fast enough when I have a potential client.
Ok thank you!! I guess I need to confirmed the fact that now I will have it on hand for the next client who wants it!
I charge $65 per weft for the 14âs, plus $200 per row for install. Iâm just north of you in Sioux Falls, SD, so pretty similar in pricing.
