I am completely new to the extension world all together and I am getting a bit lost on how much to charge per row. I would like to charge as a bundle including the hair, cutting, coloring the extensions and their hair. Can anyone share their pricing structure or how to come up with the bundles?

We charge an initial package price for all new installs. Starting prices are 1200 for one row 1500 for two 1800 for three That is for 18” hair. It’s more for 22’s That includes color, extension color, install, cut style and a goodie bag with travel sizes of shampoo, conditioner, detangler, a wet brush and an at home care sheet We never break down the package pricing. But move ups are all ala carte Hope that helps!
Yes, it does. Thank you so much!!!
Can you share the breakdown with me? I currently do a breakdown however... it’s confusing the client. I’m switching to package pricing and I Just need to see the breakdown so I can do a package price for my 22”
How can you package price for a per row when each row varies on weft count? What’s this price including? 3 wefts ??or 4 each row?
I was package pricing but I felt like some clients I made a lot more from and some I made less. I started recently doing it separately and clients appreciate knowing what they are paying for. When I do a quote I give them a range so that I can decided on how many wefts etc. I am currently doing $200/row for initial install which includes the cut and weft coloring, whatever color they need is my typical color pricing and then I charge per weft and double the cost of wefts based on the highest priced wefts so to keep it simple. That way someone who only needs a basic hilight on their hair isn’t paying the same as someone who needs grey coverage and hilights etc. I think it depends on what you’re comfortable with. I recently replaced some wefts on a client and she asked if she was tipping on the cost of hair. She appreciated that I separated the service from the hair cost. Also I’ve heard in some states hair is considered retail and should be charged accordingly. Not sure if that means collecting taxes on it as well but something to look into.
I take the hair and divide it by the number of wefts in the bundle and times that by two to get my per weft charge
I do this same thing. I do like it too however.... double edge sword when others charge much less.
I think there’s always gonna be stylists who undercharge. I’ve been in the industry long enough to know that clients will pay for quality. If they are choosing a stylist on whose the cheapest I’m not their girl!
