I need examples of how to price the services done on initial installation vs. move up. I know prices will be different depending on location and the going rate in certain areas, but I need help with how to do my consultations. Do you list your prices, or strictly quote by each scenario?

Mckenzie has a price list further down in the threads let me find it for you!
Extension Pricing I charge $200 per row for initial install plus the cost of hair. *That initial install price includes rooting and toning wefts to blend with natural hair. 14” wefts are $60 each 18” wefts are $80 each 22” wefts are $110 each Most clients adding major length have 2 rows. Usually 8-11 wefts total divided between the 2 rows. Clients adding just thickness usually have 1 row with anywhere from 4-6 wefts. MAINTENANCE I set the first move up appointment for 7 weeks, then reevaluate from there. Most clients can extend from 8-10 weeks. Move up price $150 per row (Maintenance price is only for moving up extensions and does NOT include color)

Thank you!
I do my instal for $150 but I tell everyone that’s a discounted price from the original price of $300. Just because I want to build up the photos and clientele. Once I have over 10 clients I’ll change it. I’m gonna change it to $200. My problem is mostly time. I’m too booked up right now to fit in more extensions. I raised my regular prices. I try to book my self only color clients now. I’m gonna raise my prices again in February to free up space.
@Chloe Wallingford what if instead you hand pick 10 clients you think would be a good fit and over them a special rate to build portfolio. Instead of telling people it’s a discounted rate. Just a thought. I know as soon as I do a discount I get people who only stay for the discount. Your current clients will see more value in it. Maybe pick 2 who you feel would be the biggest transformation and offer it to them for cost of hair and color. And tell them they would pay for the maintenance. Then you’re reaching out to your loyal customers already. And tell them they have to promote you on their Instagram feed/stories. Just some ideas.
@Chloe Wallingford I can relate! I have just been extending my hours a bit and being more flexible with my extension clients for now and then booking them right away so when their maintenance appointments are in the system and that will naturally weed out other clients. Sorry that was a run on sentence 🤣
