I never have used nano beads, but I have dropped to a 2 mm bead for extremely fine hair clients and I love it. Combining the 2mm bead with also less weight on the row (start with 3 wefts) is the best option for extremely fine hair clients.
Thanks. I ordered the wrong ones but didn’t want to send them back if they were a viable option for baby fine hair.
Question about three wefts.. Im very new so this may be answered somewhere else. If one weft won’t go around the whole head you use two and the third weft in the middle correct? So a total of 6 wefts per row?
Yes 2 underneath, 2 on top, and then you can place 2 in the middle or stagger them from a few beads back
I would be careful with nano beads. Mainly because they are so small you will have way stitches (which will make it heavier, and be more prone to slipping or pulling hair out) if you drop down the width to fit or you’ll have way too much tension (and get juicy bulbs from the sides) because of the width being too wide. I personally love the 2mm beads.
Today I used 2mm beads from covet and mane, on a very fine thin haired client. Worked amazing. I'll post her grow out in 6 weeks.
