Today I had a stylist reach out to me to see what I charge for installs. And also said she’s had IBE method before from another stylist (I didn’t ask who the stylist was) the problem was she said the beads were slipping after a couple weeks after the installs. (Yes more than one install) And then she mentioned she was certified in NBR and Habit...sooo idk why would she be certified in these other methods but getting IBE on herself. Unless she wanted to try it before getting certified?? Am I looking too much into it? I just don’t want her getting an install from me and then using the method without going through the course. I also wanted to know which stylist did the install, to see if they are really IBE certified and to maybe reach out to the said stylist and let her know this person is having slippage?? Help!

Sounds like neither stylist is certified I wouldn’t touch her
Well I looked at her IG and there’s minimal content but it seems like a legit certification through Habit from her posts.
I think she is trying to see how you are doing it. I wouldn’t do it
That’s what I was thinking too..
You could ask for the stylists name and contact so you can touch base with the stylist for more information. Don’t see anything wrong with that. And if she’s being honest she shouldn’t have a problem giving it to you 🤷🏻♀️
I was thinking that too 😆
I just had this happen to me. Had a girl message me with extensions questions. Even came in for the Consultation because I don't quote over the phone. Said she had JZ style hair. Brought the hair she wanted to use. The question got very in depth only things a stylist would know. While we were chatting I IG her name. She was a local stylist in my town. Did not install. However she now is advertising that she dose the similar method. But not useing the (TM).
🤨😡😲👿
Unfortunately we find this happening so often! Just be very cautious that those asking questions may be trying to figure out how to do it. Be careful about how many details you give! As far as your situation Jaime I would definitely ask for the name of the stylist. We’ve had quite a few instances where people get what they think is IBE and turns out the stylist was falsely advertising.
I am cautious, especially after all the copyright infringement stuff🤦🏽♀️ so I did ask the name of the stylist and it is one that is listed as certified, so I’ll prob reach out to her and see what she says 🤷🏽♀️
LITERALLY had this happen to me. She was trying to watch me install the entire time and told me as she was leaving that she had deconstructed the others methods to learn them. I was shocked. If your in Utah it might even be the same girl!
Nevermind you said they went back multiple times. I’m not even sure if it’s true, they might have tried to do it on their own and it looks like crap.
No I’m in AZ...jeeZ these people got some nerve 🤦🏽♀️😭
