I’ve had a few clients say they want to use Monat shampoo at home. I’m not familiar with the brand at all, does anyone have any experience and is this an okay brand to use with extensions?
I have never use them but I have never heard anything good. I think there is a lawsuit going because they can cause hair loss. But look into that, don't take my word for it.
I have used it... And i really liked it. I used it for about 6 months. Had tons of new hair growth. Never experienced hair loss nor did anyone I know. The only reason I stopped using it is because I wasn't doing the business side of it and they took my website away and I could no longer buy it at my cost. To much effort to get it back. Lol you know.. That whole direct marketing thing. But my hair always felt amazing and stopped any breakage. So I would say it's safe for extensions. 😊
I tried it for 6 months because I thought it would be a great way to make extra money but I hated them. No bad side effects except that I had to wash my hair more! I’m usually a once a week person but with their products I had to wash every other day.
I was a rep for them and still share the product but don’t advertise. It depends on the hair. Truthfully I’d they’re getting extensions they don’t need to use MONAT. I had some people allergic because of the plant base (think aveda, people are allergic to that as well). It’s a great product but for extensions I personally
Recommend other brands.
I sell Monat in my salon and it’s great for hair extensions. The lawsuits are all bogus and unfounded. Monat won due to lack of real scientific evidence. That being said it is completely natural and some people may be allergic to some of the plant based ingredients. It’s completely safe for all hair extensions.

Thank you! Yes I thought I had read about a lawsuit, crazy!

Gave me eczema ☹️ Had a bunch of clients with allergic reactions to it and others who swear by it
