I could really use some guidance on a consultation client I had today. She has naturally curly hair. It is very very thin on top and a deep, receding hairline. She wants a little bit of length and volume. She said she would like to have up to 18 inches. Her concerns are too much bulking the back and making the top look extra thin and whether she should get straight or curly extensions. She wants to have the option of being able to straighten her hair. I told her it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to get the curly extensions in that case. Her concerns with getting the straight extensions is that when she straightens her naturally curly hair, if there is any humidity whatsoever it kinks up. I am going to post some pictures so you can get a good idea of what I am looking at. Thank you in advance! I am so stuck on this.

Is she open to curly hair extensions? Because the Adored brand may be a great option. I’d also let her know that 18” would only be an option if doing 2 rows. She looks more like a 14-16” candidate.
And you can blow dry them straight
I always like to match their natural texture for this reason! I’ve seen people with naturally wavy/curly hair and straight extensions... it’s not a good look, especially in the summer 😂. The wavy and curly hair will have a little more “fluff” to it, so it will match her natural hair much better if she straightens it or leaves it curly 👌🏻
Good point! Yes, this is the first I’ve ever had to match curly hair but I think this will actually open more doors for me. thank you gals!
Oh that’s great! I will check them out because that was one of her questions. She was open to curly extensions she just didn’t know if she would be able to straighten them if she wanted to. And you’re right… She will have to have two rows if she wants longer hair and if they have 16 inches in the curly that would be an absolutely wonderful compromise! Thank you SO MUCH!
