    Has anyone done this?

I have a client inquiring about going from a grown out pixie to a longer bob with IBE. I don’t have experience with this length yet and wondering if anyone has done this and if it would work or if she needs to wait a few more months.

Sorry it wouldn’t let me upload more than one picture. This is her current length and then her goal of a blunt bob

So the tricky part is that her top layers will still be layers so it’s not a really easily realistic look for her at this point... I would trim her nape straight across and add some extensions on the sides to angle down longer in front. After a few months she can go longer. I help a lot of people transition this way. Usually filling out those empty spots around the face is life changing for them and balances the mullett

Order a topper for her you won’t see the short pieces . She just has to be willing to wear it to get the look

Yes either a topper or you can do it without too! But will need a little bit of layering, Depending on your placement. You may be able to get away with none of placed just right. I’ll send pics
