When doing an install of 22 inch extensions, is it best to stick to only 4 wefts per row because they are so heavy?? Or does anyone do 5 wefts per row? Just concerned with the weight and pulling
I have done a few installs with 6 wefts on one row, but I focus the 5th and 6th weft in the back where the clients hair is the thickest. More often than not though I’m doing 4-5 wefts per row!
In my opinion If they need 3 rows I try and talk them into growing there hair and then getting the extensions when 2 rows will work, nobody has time to take care of that much hair 😇. When I install 22 inch I am very particular in placement usually the bottom row applied as usual with 5 wefts and the top row as high as I can go in placement with 4 wefts.
I really prefer doing 4 per row if I can get it to blend. The max I will do is 5
Thank you!!
I’ve done 5 but only if they’ve got a decent density to begin with!
Thanks McKenzie!!
5 rows? Or 5 on one weft?
Oh goodness, not 5 rows! 5 22” wefts on one row☺️

Does anyone on here ever do 3 rows with IBE?? I’ve only ever done 2 rows but I’ve thought about doing 3 on my thick haired clients.
I have..my client has hair just below her shoulder and blunt, and got 22” hair..it blended so much better with 3 rows!
I have too but it’s A LOT of hair

I have a 3 row but she is very experienced, takes really good care and her extra row has 3 wefts. She’s just addicted. Lol
