How do you guys keep track of your hair inventory? I never kept track before but my business is growing and I just placed a giant order with C&M so I feel like I need to start logging this stuff. Do you guys use spread sheets? What’s your preferred method?

What POS system do you use ? I use square and they have an awesome inventory tracking system included in the pricing per swipe. You input the inventory when you receive it and it will minus it automatically when check the client out . It’s a lot of work to imput everything at first but I really like it!
I have 1 credit card designated to buying hair extension supplies. I also keep track of my month extension sales on excel spreadsheets that lists the clients total, the hair cost, my commission, and the salons commission. I also have quickbooks that helps me keep track of everything. Every time you purchase hair you can add it to your database and put it under its own “hair cost” category.
